Belts in Diablo 2 Expansions offer additional Armor Class, and they carry potential Magical Mods. The greatest benefit that they provide is the additional slots for quicker potion access. As a beginner, you will start with a minimum of four slots, but with every new level of belt that you achieve, the count of their slots will increase as well, which is until it reached its maximum number (sixteen). Magical Belts can also offer extraordinary resistances and bonuses to the statistics of the character, as well as FHR (Fastest Hit Recovery).
Important Facts
The in-game characters naturally have four slots on their belts (otherwise known as diablo 2 resurrected belts).
In terms of I-Level (Item Level), a mobs’ M-Level (Monster Level) needs to be higher than the I-Level of an Affix or Item for the creature to drop it.
In terms of C-Level (Character Level), a character needs to be of the mentioned level or higher to equip the belt.
Finally, every belt takes up to 2×1 spaces in the inventory slots.
Normal Diablo 2 Belts
Sash
Sash offers +2 Defense, +12 Durability, and requires 0 Strength to equip. It comprises eight belt slots, the item level is 3, and the C-Level requirement is none.
Light Belt
Light Belt offers +3 Defense, +14 Durability, and requires 0 Strength to equip. It comprises eight belt slots, the item level is 7, and the C-Level requirement is none.
Belt
Belt offers +5 Defense, +16 Durability, and requires 25 Strength to equip. It comprises twelve belt slots, the item level is 12, and the C-Level requirement is none (otherwise known as diablo 2 resurrected belts).
Heavy Belt
Heavy Belt offers +6 Defense, +18 Durability, and requires 45 Strength to equip. It comprises twelve belt slots, the item level is 20, and the C-Level requirement is none.
Plated Belt
Plated Belt offers +8-13 Defense, +24 Durability, and requires 60 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 27, and the C-Level requirement is none, for diablo 2 belts.
Exceptional Diablo 2 Belts
It’s worth noting that you can only find Exceptional Items in the Nightmare and Hell Difficulty modes of the Diablo 2 platform. In the expansion, you will come across these items in Act 4 and Act 5 Normal Difficulty mode, and then in Nightmare and Hell Difficulty modes. The below-mentioned Exceptional Belts have sixteen potion slots.
Demon Hide Sash
Demon Hide Sash offers +29-34 Defense, +12 Durability, and requires 20 Strength to equip these diablo 2 belts. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 36, and the C-Level requirement is 24.
Shark Skin Belt
Shark Skin Belt offers +31-36 Defense for diablo 2 unique belts, +14 Durability, and requires 20 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 39, and the C-Level requirement is 25.
Mesh Belt
Mesh Belt offers +35-40 Defense, +16 Durability, and requires 58 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 43, and the C-Level requirement is 25.
Battle Belt
Battle Belt offers +37-42 Defense for this diablo 2 unique belts, +18 Durability, and requires 88 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 49, and the C-Level requirement is 25.
War Belt
War Belt offers +41-52 Defense, +24 Durability, and requires 110 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 54, and the C-Level requirement is 25.
Elite Diablo 2 Belts
It’s worth noting that Elite Belts can only be found in the following Expansion. Each one of them carries sixteen slots and high C-Level requirements. Also, the monsters that are introduced and encountered in Act 5 or Nightmare Difficulty mode are up to M-Level 70, so you can theoretically locate every Elite Belt there, except a Colossus Girdle. However, most of them are found in Hell Difficulty mode.
Spider Web Sash
Spider Web Sash offers +55-62 Defense, +12 Durability, and requires 50 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 61, and the C-Level requirement is 46.
Vampire Fang Belt
Vampire Fang Belt offers +56-63 Defense, +14 Durability, and requires 50 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 68, and the C-Level requirement is 51.
Mithril Coil
Mithril Coil offers +58-65 Defense, +16 Durability, and requires 106 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 75, and the C-Level requirement is 56.
Troll Belt
Troll Belt offers +59-66 Defense, +18 Durability, and requires 151 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 82, and the C-Level requirement is 62.
Colossus Girdle
Colossus Girdle offers +61-71 Defense, +24 Durability, and requires 185 Strength to equip. It comprises sixteen belt slots, the item level is 89, and the C-Level requirement is 67.
